Happy Thanksgiving, Canadian friends!
I hope all friends in the Great White North are having a lovely Thanksgiving celebration, surrounded by family and friends. I just plopped this year’s turkey in the oven *fingers crossed for a juicy turkey leg in about 4 hours*.
A quick post featuring this easy, breezy plaid top. Its easy nature puts me in such a cheerful mode, you can’t help but twirl while in it.
Temperatures in Calgary have been dropping, it has been getting harder & harder to get up on time in the mornings and all folks like myself wish to do is stay wrapped up in bed sipping on vanilla bean flavoured hot chocolate.
A few weeks back, Femi and I took a trip to Vegas which I talked about in this post. What I did not mention was the little retail therapy I divulged in. I have this self-imposed rule that whenever I visit a new city, I go to their stores/malls and buy just one item – it could be a clothing item, a pair of shoes, or a bag – to be a memoir of my visit to that city. I think it is cool when the items in your closet have a story to them.
Who gets that old time rule of no white after labour day? Not me. I have done sufficient research on the matter to try to find its origin and basis, and have come up with nothing substantial.
